Applications of the CSA Expansive Additive

CSA expansive additive is a calcium sulfoaluminate-based concrete expansive agent primarily composed of anhydrous calcium sulfoaluminate and calcium oxide. Through hydration reactions, it generates ettringite (C₃A·3CaSO₄·32H₂O), producing moderate volume expansion in concrete to compensate for shrinkage and enhance crack resistance and impermeability. CSA expansive additive is widely used, particularly in projects with high requirements for crack control and waterproofing.

Main Application Fields

*Underground Engineering: Such as subways, tunnels, civil air defense projects, high-*rise building basements, mines, underground parking lots, etc., for self-waterproofing concrete structures.

*Hydraulic and Water Treatment Structures: Including water tanks, water towers, storage tanks, reservoir dams, ports, docks, water plants, sewage treatment plants, and other structures with high impermeability and crack resistance requirements.

*Ultra-Long Seamless Structures: Such as ultra-long concrete floor slabs and large base slabs, compensating for drying shrinkage stress to reduce or eliminate post-pouring strips, enabling continuous construction.

*Rigid Self-Waterproofing Roofs and Exterior Walls: Used for impermeable mortar layers, moisture-proof mortar layers, and rigid waterproof roofs to improve crack resistance.

*Transportation Infrastructure: Highway pavements, bridge decks and components, culverts, paving concrete, water supply/drainage pipelines, etc.

*Post-Pouring Strips and Joint Anchoring: For building post-pouring joints, frame structure joint anchoring, mechanical equipment base bolt anchoring, non-shrink grouting, etc.
