CSA cement
CSA cement introduction
CSA cement is a product obtained by mixing CSA binder with anhydrite and other raw materials. It is characterized by short initial setting time, short final setting time and high early strength, which can be directly used in various engineering projects.
CSA cement Key Features
1. Rapid Setting and Early Strength
CSA cement hardens much faster than ordinary Portland cement. Initial setting typically occurs within 12–20 minutes, allowing structures to gain significant strength within hours rather than days.
2. Low Shrinkage and Crack Control
During hydration, CSA cement forms ettringite crystals, which produce slight expansion and compensate for shrinkage, helping reduce cracking in concrete and mortar products.
3. High Durability
Concrete made with CSA cement demonstrates excellent resistance to freeze–thaw cycles, sulfate attack, water penetration and chloride and chemical corrosion. These properties improve the long-term service life of infrastructure.
4. Low Alkalinity
CSA cement typically has a PH value around 11, which is lower than conventional Portland cement and helps reduce the risk of steel corrosion in reinforced structures.
5. Environmentally Friendly
CSA cement production requires lower kiln temperatures and less limestone, resulting in significantly lower CO₂ emissions compared with Portland cement production.

CSA cement Storage, transportation and packing
CSA cement is usually supplied in:25 kg or 50 kg bags or jumbo bags.
For optimal performance, it should be stored in a dry and cool environment and protected from moisture during transportation and storage.
